Our Story
C4 originated in the Oil and Gas industry to help conserve water, our most precious natural resource. The company developed a process that was cost-effective in recycling oil and gas wastewater for less than the cost of fresh water.
C4 is implementing these same innovative practices and experiences to design systems to now harness the power of the sun and to store its energy. Solar and energy storage systems have become more predominately accepted because of the technological advancements that have made it more economical.
C4’s experience in industrial controls, electrical construction, and project management provides a methodical approach with every project that is evaluated. Each system is unique based on the end user's objectives. Therefore, C4 invests quality time upfront, by designing the systems to generate a detailed scope of work before each proposal is given. This ensures that each project is priced cost effectively and that the proposed sales price is the customers only and final price.

Battery Back Up vs Generators
- Batteries can utilize solar and grid for recharging
- Both are reliable sources of power
- Hybrid solar/battery systems are generator ready for redundancy
- Both have automatic transfer switches; generators can take up to a minute to activate, while battery systems activate in fractions of a second
- Refueling battery systems draw from the sun while generators need fuel
- Generators are less expensive but require maintenance that will incur more costs over time compared to batteries that require very little maintenance and have 10-year plus warranties
- Battery systems present more opportunities by allowing stored energy to be utilized during peak times or selling energy back to the grid, creating more savings. These savings are not possible with a home generator
